Coach's Biography

John Lathan made his professional soccer debut at the age of 17 for Sunderland of the English Premier League.  He played for the Black Cats for several years including 1973 when Sunderland captured the FA Cup.  John's playing career included stops with Mansfield Town, Carlisle and Portsmouth where he was team captain.  He coached in Australia and South Africa before moving to New York City in 2003.  John is the coach of Manhattan Revolution (Girls U-13), 2009 NY State Cup champions Manhattan Ajax (Boys U-15) and Manhattan Villa (Boys U-10).
